Janelle Monáe performed live for Rebecca Minkoff’s runway show as part of a collaboration with American Express Upstaged for New York Fashion Week.

New York Fashion Week is now well underway, and a sure highlight of this year’s events has got to be the R&B/soul artist’s performance at Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring 2014 showcase. Monae performed tracks off of her new album Electric Lady as the bright, print heavy collection debuted to a star studded front row that included Louise Roe, Olivia Palermo and Jamie Chung.
