September sees multimedia artist Doug Aitken’s train station tour, Station To Station, hit from New York to San Francisco, featuring a range of artists showcasing left-field performance pieces. Now here’s a clip of Dan Deacon’s offering.
Doug Aitken’s latest project includes a range of media and forms of art, with participating musicians that include Ariel Pink, Twin Shadow and Nite Jewel. Short films about the artists are also included on the tour.
Station to Station is a diverse project that will visit nine stops on a train from New York to San Francisco. The stops include Chicago, Los Angeles and Winslow, amongst others.
