Watch Big Joanie cover Solange for Best Fit’s secret sessions at End of the Road
As part of Best Fit's secret sessions at last year's End of the Road Festival, London punk trio Big Joanie played their cover of Solange's "Cranes in the Sky", which is available to watch now.
Big Joanie first released their cover of Solange's "Cranes in the Sky" in August 2020. Their debut album Sistahs arrived in 2018.
The feminist punk three-piece, who just finished touring with IDLES and Jehnny Beth, will play Dark Arts 2022 in Leeds on 26 February and the BBC 6 Music Festival in Cardiff on 3 April, and are currently putting the finishing touches to their second album that's out later this year via Daydream Library / Kill Rock Stars.
Best Fit's secret sessions have become a key part of End of the Road each year, bringing together artists from across the line-up in a series of short sets, exclusive covers, collaborations, live interviews and Q&As. Past guests have included Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Moses Sumney, Alex Cameron, Laura Marling, Patti Smith, and Frightened Rabbit - who played a now iconic version of "The Modern Leper".
