There’s a running joke on the Late Show with David Letterman of the host asking drummers if their kit is their own or rentals, as a way of making small talk. Bastille, evidently big Letterman fans, paid tribute to this by dressing their drummer in a “These Are My Drums” t-shirt.
The electro-pop group took to the U.S TV show last night to perform “Bad Blood” live, a track which – as the host points out – has made them “hugely popular in their native England”.
