The past week has almost seemed like Beatlemania Part II, with a whole of acts paying tribute to the famous four to mark 50 years since The Beatles made their U.S TV debut.
We’ve already seen Broken Bells and Flaming Lips cover the band on Letterman, now over the weekend Lauryn Hill took on “Something” on that same show, whilst Arctic Monkeys performed “All My Loving” at their Madison Square Garden show.
Sunday night also saw the CBS television special to the band, with Dave Grohl, Eurythmics and more performing. Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr themselves also appeared at the event.
