He’s already mastered old school crooning, intriguing showmanship and pretty impressive dance moves, now Future Islands’ Samuel T. Herring has tried his hand at hip-hop.

As SPIN note, the singer recently showcased his rap alter-ego Hemlock Ernst for video collective Time Spent. You can watch that video beneath, along with a clip of Herring performing under the moniker in L.A last year.
