Watch a Four Tet documentary for 10th anniversary of Rounds
With his new album coming shortly and his seminal LP Rounds turning 10 this year, VICE‘s The Creators Project thought it the right time to produce this short film on electronic maestro Four Tet.
Entitled Four Tet: Looking Backward, Moving Forward, the documentary sees Kieran Hebden discussing the formation of the record, its influence on his work as an artist since, as the title suggests, looking towards the future.
“I used to watch six episodes of Dawson’s Creek and then make a song,” Hebden reflects on his breakthrough full-length.
Rounds saw a deluxe outing via Domino earlier in May, re-released on double heavyweight LP, with a bonus disc as part of a CD set too. The second disc of the release features a live set in Copenhagen from back in 2003.
