Daft Punk’s signature headwear is the subject of a new documentary produced by Mixmag and Olmeca Tequila.
The short film may just be five minutes long but many interesting developments arise. For example, did you know that NASA and the inventor of the Jumbotron helped design the helmets? They were also originally meant to feature anime-style hair, plus it’s revealed that the initial concept was inspired by cult film The Day the Earth Stood Still.
