Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa and Boom Bip form Belief and share debut single "I Want To Be"
Belief, a new project from Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa and LA producer Boom Bip, have unveiled their debut single "I Want To Be".
"I Want To Be" is the first outing from Belief, a new collaborative project from Stella Mozgawa and Boom Bip, and is teamed with a Glashier-directed video that was shot in Berlin.
Boom Bip says of the release, "We chose "I Want To Be" as the first single because of its anthemic synth hook. It felt like an opening. The simple message "I Want To Be" grabbed us right away because it can be applied to nearly anyone’s plight or situation to push forward."
Mozgawa first joined Boom Bip, real name Bryan Charles Hollon on his Neon Neon tour in 2013, and in 2016 they started to jam in Eric Wareheim’s Absolutely Studios, and have been working on Belief material over the past five years.
