Warpaint to play new material on upcoming UK tour
With an album on its way shortly, Warpaint are set to preview some new music during their UK tour in October.
The band will play a handful of live dates later this year, stopping off in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester and London following a festival appearance at End Of The Road during August.
“We’re very excited to play you our new songs and share the experience of music together!” the band posted on Facebook recently. ”Thank you for all your love and kindness… we are truly grateful and honor you from the bottom of our hearts.”
The group confirmed back in February that they had started work on the follow-up to 2010 debut The Fool, with that new LP likely to drop by the year’s end.
It was revealed yesterday that Warpaint’s Emily Kokal is also set to feature on Brody Dalle’s new solo album. See the band’s aforementioned live dates in full below.
