Voxtrot split… does anyone care?

Voxtrot - the once hotly tipped and heavily hyped Austin-based band – are to split. Frontman Ramesh Srivastava had this to say:

“The career path of Voxtrot was truly one of long, simmering build, explosion and almost instantaneous decay,” Srivastava wrote. “Slowly, I am learning to replace any feelings of regret with positive memories of how amazing the whole thing was, and how it has, in an unexpected way, fortified my character.”

After releasing a myriad of EP’s, their debut album was, well, a bit shocking. They’ve got a farewell tour in the US just to finish it off…
