A series of neo-classical events set to take place in London, and curated by NY composer Nico Muhly, will feature the likes of Villagers and Philip Glass.
The A Scream And An Outrage mini-festival will be joint-held by the capital’s Barbican Centre and LSO St Luke’s from 10-12 May.
Among the programme’s highlights are performances from Villagers’ Conor O’Brien playing an electric guitar concerto scored by The National’s Bryce Dessner and Philip Glass premiering his ‘Etudes For Piano’ series. Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry and Muhly himself will also make appearances.
