Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig to perform live with Karen O at the Oscars

The 2014 Academy Awards will take place this Sunday (2 March), with Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O one of several performers scheduled for the evening. Now, it’s been announced that she’ll be joined live by Vampire Weekend singer Ezra Koenig.

The pair recently teamed up for a duet version of “Moon Song”, lifted from the Her movie soundtrack. That song itself is nominated for “Best Original Song” on the night, up against Pharrell’s “Happy” and more.

Koenig will play acoustic guitar alongside Karen O for the performance. Until then, stream the duet version of “Moon Song” beneath:
