Vampire Weekend live webcast to be directed by Steve Buscemi

It’s been a weird weekend for one Vampire Weekend. First it was revealed that bassist Chris Baio was a distant cousin of legendary actor Steve Buscemi, then the pair met up and embarked on a Easter parade, now the family ties have led to a video collaboration.
The NYC band, who are due to release their third album in May, will play their first hometown show in over two years later this month and now it’s been announced that Buscemi will direct the live stream of it.
The gig in question will take place at Roseland Ballroom on 28 April, streamed online via YouTube/Vevo.
