Having announced their new album in the classified ads of a newspaper, it seems only right that preppy indie types Vampire Weekend get to edit one of their own, having been roped in to guest-edit today’s edition of New York’s Metro.
As Pitchfork report, the band have been ”working together with the papers’ permanent editors, choose subject matter to be covered by the publications while curating a special section devoted to the best foods of New York City”. The issue will also be available in Boston and Philadelphia.
You can read some of the articles via the Metro website. Their new album, Modern Vampires of the City is out now.
