Tavi Gevinson’s Rookie Magazine has one particular feature called “Ask a Grown Man”, which sees famous celebrities and other wise artsy types give sage advice to its readership, generally teenagers of the female variety.
After Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich had previously been recruited to become wise elders for the day, this week it was the turn of preppy indie-rockers Vampire Weekend.

Vampire Weekend’s latest album Modern Vampires of the City is out now.
