Ty Segall has shared a new alternate version of "Fanny Dog", the opening number from his latest LP Freedom's Goblin.
Segall strips back the fuzz for a sassy, classic pop outing - this new take was recorded with Boo Mitchell in Memphis at the Royal Studios (hence the 'royal' tag), with a newfound focus on horns and keys.
Segall has a busy few months of touring ahead, including European shows in May and June. See the full dates on Songkick.
"Fanny Dog (Royal)" is out now via Drag City. You can get it on Bandcamp.
