Two more Boards of Canada clips aired by NPR & BBC
Yesterday we told you about two mysterious Boards of Canada vinyl found in New York City and London. Well, two more might have surfaced now also.
The BBC played their snippet during Zane Lowe’s show on Radio 1, while NPR’s All Things Considered played the other. Interestingly, neither show stated what the piece of music was or who made it. BBCR1 simply called it “Unknown”, while NPR briefly commented: “At the end of the show Bob and Robin play an audio clue that adds to a growing mystery on the web pointing to a new album from … an unnamed band. Very mysterious.”
Both pieces of audio feature the same creepy, evil lullaby-esque arrangement as before, but with different series of numbers than the first pair recited by that haunting robotic voice. Four of the probable six series of digits have now been found, after that an album announcement is widely expected.
