Turnover announce new album Good Nature and reveal lead cut "Super Natural"
Turnover have announced new record Good Nature and shared beaming new fuzz-pop track "Super Natural".
The LP is the Virginia Beach crew's third in total, and follows 2015's Peripheral Vision and last year's short-player Humblest Pleasures.
"This whole record is about learning," says frontman Austin Getz. "Opening your eyes to new things, going outside of your comfort zone, and learning to grow into something new."
"It can be hard to be honest with yourself sometimes when it comes to creativity," Getz adds. Excited by the opportunities for personal and creative growth the band experienced in the wake of Peripheral Vision, they worked hard to strike a balance for its follow-up, "writing good songs but pushing boundaries, without getting strange just for the sake of being strange."
Good Nature features frequent collaborator Will Yip on production duties.
The album news come after a statement yesterday (20 June) regarding allegations against guitarist Eric Soucy, who has parted ways with Turnover for "the foreseeable future".
