Tupac's estate under new management, set to release “entire body of work”
The estate of the late Tupac Shakur has confirmed it’s under new management, moving over to Jampol Artist Management, who control the rights to Michael Jackson, The Doors and more.
Billboard have confirmed this move to the company that also take care of the estates of both Janis Joplin and Otis Redding.
And in addition to this, Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, has promised more posthumous releases to come.
Mrs Shakur said in a statement:
“I believe it is our responsibility to make sure that Tupac’s entire body of work is made available for his fans. My son left many incomplete pieces and even more unfinished ideas. Using the blueprints he gave us, I am committed to fulfilling this duty.”
2Pac’s estate has already released six posthumous solo albums from the rapper, as well as two compilation records and a collaborative LP with the Outlawz.
