Broadway director Kenny Leon is reportedly working on a theatre play largely influenced by late rapper Tupac Shakur.
2Pac, who died of gun wounds back in 1996, is said to be the inspiration for one of the characters of Holler If Ya Hear Me. It’s script lends from a book by Todd Kreidler as its source material.
The show, set in a Midwestern U.S inner city, is said to premiere later this year/early 2014. It’s choreographed by Wayne Cilento.
