Following the release of 2009’s Bird-Brains, songstress Merill Garbus has announced her next album, w h o k i l l, will be released via 4AD on April 18. Recorded shortly after she moved from Montreal to California, this will be the second full length from tUnE-yArDs. Retaining the honesty of the lonely bedroom confessionals of her early work the album has apparently been heavily influenced by Garbus’ new surroundings.
European dates are expected to be announced later this month.
