He shoots, he scores! Trust Fund announces second record Seems Unfair, shares lead single "Football"
Trust Fund only released an almost some seven months ago, but the Bristol DIY-er is back already.
New LP Seems Unfair is heralded by sport-adoring paean "Football", a raucous melange of dazed fuzz-pop and '90s grunge and mismatched balls, bats, goals, and physical miscellany. Go sports team!
Speaking about the track, Trust Fund says: “I feel so ambiguous about football and especially the kind of football that you can watch on TV, but I basically can’t deny how important it is to a lot of the relationships I have with people.”
Seems Unfair is out 30 October via Turnstile - it was recorded by Hookworms’ MJ in Leeds. The record follows February's No one's coming for us.
