Troye Sivan announces new film Three Months
Troye Sivan has announced his upcoming film Three Months, which will see him play a a Florida teen who gets exposed to HIV at the end of high school.
After being confirmed for The Weeknd's upcoming HBO series The Idol in November last year, Troye Sivan has announced another new acting role in Jared Frieder's upcoming film Three Months.
Three Months is a coming-of-age film that will see Sivan play a Florida teen called Caleb. Troye Sivan wrote on Instagram, "Florida, 2011. Caleb Kahn gets a text from a hot one night stand that he never thought he’d hear from again - he has just tested positive for HIV. Caleb remembers; the condom broke. how long until Caleb finds out if he has it too? 3 Months."

The film will also star Viveik Kalra, Brianne Tju, Ellen Burstyn, Judy Greer, Javier Munoz, Louis Gossett, Jr. and Amy Landecker, and is produced by the producers of Juno and Up In The Air. Sivan has also written two original songs for the film, according to People.
Sivan's last acting role was in 2018's Boy Erased.
