As you very well know if you’ve experienced him yapping on about it these past few months, Dave Grohl has a new film out. But one good thing about the Sound City documentary is that it paved the way for this collaboration between Grohl, Josh Homme and Trent Reznor.
The Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails members teamed up with the former Nirvana man on the soundtrack’s closing number, ‘Mantra’.
All three are set to appear on the new QOTSA album, thought to be released sometime this year.
Before then you can listen to this new track online right now, embedded below:
Sound City: Real to Reel will be released next week (12 March) via Grohl’s own Roswell Records.
