Travis Scott breaks out “Love Galore” for his first live show in Portugal at Super Bock Super Rock
“I’m letting you know right now that if you can’t survive this shit, get the fuck out right now,” Travis Scott warned as his headline set kicked off on Saturday night at Super Bock Super Rock.
With flamethrowers, laser shows, and a hulking personality, the 26-year-old rapper and singer pulled out all the stops for his first live show in Portugal. His set meandered through his earlier hits into his latest material, with a broody and moody detour to perform his SZA collar “Love Galore”. With an arena floor pushed to the limits, the energy was infectious as Scott commanded the stage with ease. The packed stadium was buzzing with excitement as cups, shirts, and more went flying as the crowd let loose — “Who the fuck threw their cell phone up here?” Scott asked as he collected a cracked iPhone from the front of the stage. “This shit is crazy.”
Scott’s set followed an electrifying set by Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals. Funky, fast, and fresh from a busy international festival circuit: The high-energy group oozed with charisma throughout the show, but keyboardist Ron Jerome Avant stole the performance with an impromptu cheeky, playful cover of Ginuwine’s “Pony”.
