Tove Lo returns with magnificent new single "Cool Girl"
Tove Lo's back with "Cool Girl", a jolt of pop glory set to light up summers everywhere.
Lo has been teasing the release all week, uploading teasers of the upcoming video to social media. The song's a turn away from Lo's supercharged synth sounds, and instead of impassioned choruses with a self-destructive bent, the tune's alluringly low key. The bassline's hella addictive, Lo's shadowy coo is gorgeous, and each beat will get you moving - it's a tantalising taste of Lo's next steps.
Lo's debut record Queen Of The Clouds was released in 2014, but the super-pop Swede has hardly kept quiet since it dropped, collaborating with Flume, Coldplay, and Years & Years, working on the Divergent OST, and dropping the odd track to Soundcloud.
