Tom Waits to perform brand new song on Late Show with David Letterman Thursday 14 May

Tom Waits is to perform a totally fresh song on The Late Show With David Letterman tomorrow (14 May) as a tribute to the outgoing host.
Waits will perform for the 10th and final time ahead of Letterman leaving the show. Waits made his first appearance on 21 December 1983, and said of the upcoming performance, which occurs some 31-and-a-bit-years later, "I don't know when I will see Dave again. I guess from now on we'll have to settle for bumping into each other at Pilates..."
