Tom Waits pens touching tribute to Merle Haggard

Tom Waits has paid tribute to legendary country singer/songwriter Merle Haggard.
Writing in Rolling Stone, Waits explains how the Bakersfield Sound pioneer made him "feel a whole lot better about living in a place called National City."
Haggard passed away earlier this month aged 79.
