Tom Vek launches new record sleeve app Sleevenote
Tom Vek has helped launch a new app that attempts to recreate the old joy of album covers and sleeves but in a digital age.
Sleevenote - available now on the App Store - syncs up with your music library, providing swipeable front and back sleeves, just like flipping over a LP.
“It’s no secret to anyone who follows my music that I take great enjoyment in designing my own artwork, but I wanted to see it on my phone, where I play most of my music, so I thought I’d look into a solution,” Vek says of the project. “It focuses on tracklist art because it’s what you need to navigate an album’s songs and I love seeing all the different designs, it reminds you how individual albums are.”
