Timothée Chalamet to reportedly play Bob Dylan in new biopic
Timothée Chalamet has apparently been casted to play Bob Dylan in a new biopic.
As Deadline reports, the new biopic will be directed by Logan director/producer James Mangold, and might star Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan.
Negotiations are apparently underway to get Chalamet on board for the new biopic, which will focus around Bob Dylan's transition from acoustic to electric guitar.
Bob Dylan is on board as an executive producer for the new film. It's still currently untitled, but is referred to as Going Electric.
Deadline also notes that Dylan's longtime manager Jeff Rosen is producing the new film, and the film has acquired the rights to Dylan's music and Elijah Wald's book Dylan Goes Electric.
