The long-rumoured posthumous Michael Jackson album now has a release date, expected for May.
Entitled XSCAPE, the album was produced by Timbaland, as well as Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and others. It’s is said to “add a fresh, contemporary sound” to eight unreleased Jackson tracks.
“Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with,” a press release from Epic Records reads. “We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world.”
XSCAPE will see the light of day on 13 May.
