Tim Minchin to host new David Bowie documentary
Absolute Radio are to broadcast a three part documentary based on the career of David Bowie next month.
The programme, scheduled to air throughout April, will be presented by Aussie comedian and musician Tim Minchin.
Minchin said of the project:
“David Bowie is a master of re-invention, one of the most iconic musicians of all time and a hero of mine. His story has been told before, but never like this.”
The first part of the series will focus on Bowie’s early life and career (1947-1973), the second will stretch from 1973-1980, while the last part will include everything from 1980s onwards to new album The Next Day and the V&A’s current David Bowie Is exhibition.
The shows will air on Sunday April 7th, 14th and 21st at 7pm.
