Tim Hecker soundtracks Oregon massacre documentary

With his new album out this week, experimental musician Tim Hecker has also unveiled another project, revealing he’s been working on the score for documentary film, Massacred for Gold.
Massacred for Gold follows the story of the 1887 Oregon miner massacre in which a group of workers were murdered in an act of violence against Chinese immigrants. The film will premiere at the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival next month.
Hecker’s new album, Virgins is out now.
