Tim Hecker announces new album Virgins for October

Canadian experimental producer, Tim Hecker has revealed details of his upcoming seventh full-length release.
Following on from 2011′s Ravedeath, 1972, the new effort – entitled Virgins – will drop on 14 October via Kranky. A press release says it was “recorded during three periods in 2012, mostly in Reykjavik, Montreal and Seattle, using ensembles in live performance”.
