Former Sonic Youth musician Thurston Moore is set to release a new solo album shortly, now unveiling the line-up of his band ahead of that release.
Going by the name “the Thurston Moore band”, the live outfit will consist of Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, Debbie Googe of My Bloody Valentine, Chrome Hoof’s James Sedwards and more. They’ll perform their first show in Amsterdam on 19 August.
Moore’s new solo album The Best Day will be released via Matador in September.
