Thom Yorke to soundtrack documentary with Massive Attack member
Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Massive Attack man Robert Del Naja are set to team up on the soundtrack of a new British documentary directed by London journalist Mark Donne.
The picture, entitled The UK Gold, will take an in-depth look at the country’s history of tax avoidance and – along with its famous musical composers – will also be narrated by actor Dominic West.
The director, Donne said of the soundtrack: “A pretty stunning soundtrack from the creative hearts of Radiohead and Massive Attack creates a spellbinding experience.” And of the film itself: ”This is a political documentary, but more than anything else it is an extraordinary story.”
Donne has previously worked with the likes of Carl Barat and Anthony Rossomando on The Rime of the Modern Mariner.
