With this year’s Record Store Day approaching, Thom Yorke’s Atoms For Peace project decided to get people in the record-buying mood by releasing a limited edition single, ‘Judge, Jury and Executioner’, at one independent retailler. The only problem being what lucky shop would get to sell it.
Ever democratic, Yorke decided to host a lottery to determine the winner, putting a bunch of record store names into a hat and picking one out.
The chosen ones were Seattle’s Sonic Boom Records, who will exclusively sell the 100 12″s pictured in the GIF above.
