THEESatisfaction and Peaking Lights among new names added to Portugal’s Milhões de Festa
Portugal's acclaimed Milhões de Festa celebrates its eighth birthday this July and today reveals more names on the stellar line-up, including THEESatisfaction and Peaking Lights. They join names such as All We Are, Deerhoof, Grumbling Fur and Hey Colossus at the three day event in Barcelos, a town in the north of Portugal.
The festival kicks off on 23 July and runs from 1pm each day to around 6am each morning. It's the brainchild of label and promoter Lovers & Lollypops who were also involved in the excellent Tremor festival we visited a few weeks back.
The full list of names announced so far includes All We Are, Cairo Liberation Front, Cave Story, Deerhoof, Dreamweapon, DRUNK IN HELL, Ekco Deck, Go!Zilla, Golden Teacher, Grumbling Fur, Gum Takes Tooth, Hey Colossus, Hitchpop, Live Low, O Gringo Sou Eu, MEDEIROS/LUCAS, Michael Rother plays NEU!, Harmonia & solo works, Peaking Lights, Plus Ultra, PERC Live, THEEsatisfaction, The Bug ft. Flowdan & Manga, The Cosmic Dead, The Holydrug Couple, The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band, Tiago, Tøuløuse, TREE and Tresor&Bosxh.
More names will be added, we're told and earlybird tickets, priced at £40, are on sale now.
