The xx set for 18-day residency at Manchester International Festival
The xx have confirmed they’re set for a residency at the Manchester International Festival during July of next year.
The Mercury-nominated trio are scheduled for an extended 18-day stay between 4-21 July 2013.
The organisers released the following statement on the news:
“Following the release of their Number 1 album Coexist The xx are in residence at MIF, taking over an enigmatic found space in the centre of the city for the whole Festival. Each of these specially staged shows will have a capacity of no more than 100, giving audiences a new relationship with the band’s intimate, atmospheric music.”
