With Jamie XX’s side projects and solo career occupying much of his time since The xx won the Mercury prize last year for their eponymous debut album, the band haven’t had much time to work on new material until now.
Posting on their newly launched blog yesterday the trio revealed that work has finally begun on their highly anticipated second album: “We have started recording our second album! We have also started this blog where we will post our inspirations and pictures and favourite songs.”
