Reg Presley, frontman of ’60s garage rock group The Troggs, has died at the age of 71.
BBC News report that the singer had fought a long battle with lung cancer before he passed yesterday (4 February).
Presley (pictured above) is said to have been surrounded by his family at his Hampshire home at the time of his death.
He’s best known for his band’s hit song ‘Love Is All Around’, which was covered during the 1990s by pop group Wet Wet Wet.
Watch a rendition of that track below. Our thoughts are with Presley’s friends and family at this time.
