Following rumours last week that The Strokes are set to return, it seems that they will indeed release a new album during 2013.
Billboard reports that the album was recorded in New York last June and produced by Gus Oberg.
Just last week, Seattle radio station 107.7 The End claimed to be listening to new tracks by the group – one said to be called ’All The Time’ and another described as “synth driven”.
The station say they were sent the track by RCA Records and that it’ll feature on the band’s upcoming fifth album.
The forthcoming record will follow on from Angles, the New York band’s comeback LP released in March 2011.
