Want a comprehensive history of The Smiths without reading Morrissey’s recent Autobiography or having to browse Wikipedia? Well luckily there’s now a new interactive timeline that offers just this.
The timeline allows you to explore all the key moments in the band’s legacy, from their first gig at Manchester’s Ritz in 1982 right through to NME naming The Queen Is Dead as their greatest album of all-time. There’s even some Spotify embeds thrown in for good measure.
You can check it out for yourselves here.
