The Roots announce new album, share single “When The People Cheer”

It’s surprising that The Roots have time for anything else given their status as Jimmy Fallon’s house band five days a week. But alas, the group will return with a new album called ..And Then You Shoot Your Cousin on 13 May.
Ahead of that LP release, they’ve also shared its lead single “When The People Cheer”, streaming now below.
Meanwhile, last night’s Fallon saw Questlove and co perform live with Nas and Q Tip.
