London psych-pop outfit The Proper Ornaments have today announced details of their debut album release, signing to Fortuna Pop! for Wooden Head.
The band, featuring Veronica Falls’ James Hoare and Argentinian-born Max Claps, have scheduled Wooden Head for a 9 June due date.
First, however, you can take a listen to lead cut “Summer’s Gone”. Backed by a woozy guitar-line sounding like a sunshine hangover, the group’s songwriting pertains more to the likes of The Velvet Underground.
