The Postal Service have been marking the 10 year anniversary of their first, and only album to date, Give Up during 2013, with a reissue and tour already and now here’s a documentary film celebrating the occasion.
Some Idealistic Future goes behind-the-scenes on this year’s reunion tour, as well as documenting the early origins of the band and how Give Up was recorded. An interesting piece of information is that a reunion was almost impossible, as a lot of the instruments the pair – Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello – used to make the LP are not longer working.
