A relatively new name to many in this hemisphere, the New Zealand six piece The Phoenix Foundation have been quietly bubbling under since they released Happy Endings on Flying Nun Records back in 2007. Now, having recently signed a deal with Memphis Industries, the band are free to make waves on our blustery shores with the sun soaked psychedelic melodies of debut UK single ‘Pot.’ Accompanied by a stunningly cinematic video, the track is out this week and is taken from their fourth full length album Buffalo, due out early 2011.
The guys are also busy planning a European Tour in support of the album.
