Ahead of their third album release, The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart have shared this new clip for lead album track “Simple and Sure”.
The video, directed by Bangs, depicts singer Kip Berman trapped in a dinner party of GIFs.
“I’m taken aback at how many online outlets now reduce their content to a series of GIFs, assuming a minute long video or a single paragraph of text to be too burdensome,” Kip says of its technophobe premise. “We’re as much prisoners of our need for constant distraction and instant sensation as the trapped guests at the dinner party.”
Watch that right now beneath, with upcoming LP Days Of Abandon dropping on 13 May (pushed back from April).
