The National to support Foo Fighters in Mexico

They may have been the top billing on this week’s episode of Jools Holland, but The National aren’t quite big enough yet to not play second fiddle sometimes – with it recently announced that they’ll open for the Foo Fighters in Mexico City later this year.

Quite a strange pairing, but what’s even stranger is that the show – taking place at Foro Sol on 13 December – will be Dave Grohl and co’s first ever Mexican outing.
